Based in Chandlers Ford, Atkinsons Tax Solutions was set up in 2006 and has grown steadily since. We primarily offer tax services to local people and businesses however we do deal with clients from further afield from Cornwall to New Zealand! The ability to deal by secure email means that no client is too far away, however we are also happy to offer face to face appointments at your home or our office.

We offer a complete accountancy and taxation service as listed below. We have a network of contacts who work with us to offer additional services to our clients such as bookkeeping, financial advice, legal advice etc and we liaise with your advisers directly to ensure consistent and efficient advice. We send out periodic emails to update you on the changing rules, however these are kept to the points that directly apply to our clients and if you need any more details, always do ask.

We offer a free half hour appointment to discuss your needs and to provide a quote for our services – this may be on a fixed fee or hourly basis. We work with you to find your level of service at the right price and pride ourselves on our friendly and professional service.

About Me

I am Rona Atkinson and I run Atkinsons Tax Solutions. I am a Chartered Tax Adviser however I started my working life with a Law degree. After a couple of years in accountancy, I transferred to tax and qualified with the Chartered Institute of Taxation. I enjoy the challenges of tax, being a constantly changing area and my legal background enabled me to develop my specialist areas of inheritance tax, trusts, estates and Will planning.

Over my years spent with large accountancy firms and a tax consultancy, I gained significant experience in personal tax and tax planning, spending time as a Trust & Tax Consultant as well as looking after a varied base of personal (including high net worths, landlords, self employeds, directors, individuals with investment income etc), partnerships and trust & estate clients.

My aim is to make tax less stressful for my clients, with no question too small. I am approachable, friendly yet completely professional and I will always work with you to ensure you completely understand your tax situation and that you are always as tax efficient as you can be.
